Natalia Garcia
Natalia Garcia, Pre-Registered Professional Clinical Counselor
Natalia obtained her master’s degree from the Clinical Psychology M.A. program at California State University, Dominguez Hills, on the LPCC pathway. She graduated with a B.A. in psychology from California State University, Chico, in 2021. She is also experienced in providing Applied Behavior Analysis services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is currently seeing clients under the supervision of Kevin Niehaus, LPCC (LPCC 8824).
Natalia’s clinical interests encompass stress and resilience, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, substance use, relationship and interpersonal issues, and gender or sexuality identity exploration. Her growing passion involves providing psychological services to underserved communities or marginalized individuals. Her personal experience has shaped this passion as a first-generation college student. As such, her work focuses on helping others with unique backgrounds navigate through complex life situations while teaching them the tools necessary to build a brighter future.
Natalia’s treatment orientation leans towards a more holistic approach; however, she is also trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, relational therapy, and family systems therapy. Her modality is inclusive to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Natalia accepts new clients and is open to treating individuals from adolescence to adulthood and elders.
